Zubchaty (Russian: Зубчатый) is an uninhabited island in Shelikhov Gulf of the northeastern Sea of Okhotsk.[1] It lies on the eastern side of Penzhina Bay. It has a serrated summit.[2]

It is within the Tigilsky District of Kamchatka Krai, in the Russian Far East.
History
American whaleships cruised for bowhead whales off the island from 1863 to 1889. They called it Crag Island.[3][4]

Zubčatyj (in russo: остров Зубчатый; in italiano "dentata"[1]?) è un'isola della Russia nel mare di Ochotsk. Amministrativamente appartiene al Karaginskij rajon del Territorio della Kamčatka, nel Circondario federale dell'Estremo Oriente. L'isola si trova vicino alla costa occidentale della Kamčatka, nella baia della Penžina, a nord-ovest di capo Kajagit'kanan. L'isola ha una forma allungata e un'altezza di 302 m. Accanto alla sua punta settentrionale c'è la piccola isoletta Skalistyj e poco più a nord l'isolotto Malyj, a est si trova l'isola di Rovnyj.[ru] Зубчатый
Зубча́тый[1][2] (Анянаут — бабушка[3]) — необитаемый остров в России, расположенный к западу от устья рек Пустая и Рекинники и острова Ровный, в районе лежбища морского зверя[3], в восточной части Пенжинской губы в заливе Шелихова в Охотском море, у северной части западного побережья полуострова Камчатка[4].
