Mellona Rocks is a group of scattered rocks lying at the north entrance to Nelson Strait in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica and extending 1.7 by 0.9km (1.06 by 0.56mi). The area was known to the early 19th-century sealers and sometimes included under the names 'Heywood Islands' or 'Powels Islands'.

The feature is named after the British sealing ship Mellona under Captain Thomas Johnson that operated in the South Shetlands in 1821–22.
Location
The rocks are centred at 62°17′49.3″S59°29′43.6″W which is 4.63km (2.88mi) north-northeast of Newell Point, Robert Island, 4.79km (2.98mi) east-northeast of the midpoint of Opaka Rocks, 13.1km (8.14mi) west of Harmony Point, Nelson Island and 2.35km (1.46mi) northwest of Liberty Rocks (British mapping in 1822, 1962 and 1968, Chilean in 1961 and 1971, Argentine in 1980, and Bulgarian in 2009).
