The Owl Creek Mountains are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains in central Wyoming in the United States, running east to west to form a bridge between the Absaroka Range to the northwest and the Bridger Mountains to the east. The range forms the boundary between the Bighorn Basin to the north and the Shoshone Basin to the south. The Wind River passes through the gap between the range and the Bridger Mountains to the east, and becomes the Bighorn River on the north side of the mountains. The high point of the range is 9,665 feet (2,946 m).[1] The range is entirely within the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Die Owl Creek Mountains sind eine Bergkette im Zentrum des US-Bundesstaates Wyoming. Sie sind Teil der Rocky Mountains und bilden von Osten nach Westen eine Brücke zwischen der Absaroka Range im Nordwesten und den Bridger Mountains im Osten. Das Gebirge bildet die Grenze zwischen dem Bighorn Basin im Norden und dem Shoshone Basin im Süden. Der Wind River durchquert den Wind River Canyon nördlich des Boysen Reservoirs zwischen den Owl Creek Mountains und den Bridger Mountains und wird auf der Nordseite der Berge zum Bighorn River.[1] Der höchste Punkt des Gebirges, der Owl Creek Mountains High Point, liegt auf 3010 m.[2] Die Owl Creek Mountains liegen vollständig im Gebiet des Wind River Indian Reservation in den Countys Hot Springs und Fremont.[3]
