Kavalga Island (Aleut: Qavalĝa[1]) is an island in the Delarof Islands subgroup of the Andreanof Islands in the Aleutian Islands chain of Alaska. The island is 9 km (5.6 mi) long and its highest point is 40 m (130 ft). It is located between the islands of Unalga to the west and Ogliuga to the east.

Kavalga is populated by Marmotini[2] (ground squirrels) and sea birds.[3]

Kavalga (in lingua aleutina Qavalĝa[1]), registrata inizialmente come Kakhvalga dal capitano Litke nel 1836, poi Kavalga dal capitano Teben'kov nel 1852[2], è una piccola isola delle Delarof orientali nell'arcipelago delle Aleutine e appartiene all'Alaska (USA). L'isola è lunga 9 km e il suo punto più alto è 40 m. Si trova tra le isole di Unalga, ad ovest, e Ogliuga, ad est.
