Drvenik Mali (also called Ploča by local population;[1] is an island in Croatian part of Adriatic Sea. It is situated in middle-Dalmatian archipelago, west of Drvenik Veliki, 8 nautical miles (15 km) from Trogir. Its area is 3.43 square kilometres (1.3 sq mi).[2][3] The only settlement on the island is the eponymous village with a population of 87 (as of 2011).[4] The coast is well indented and sea around the island is shallow, thus convenient for fishing.[3] The highest peak is 79 metres high.[3] Main industries are agriculture (mostly olives), fishing and tourism.[3]

L'isola appartiene all'arcipelago di Traù e fa parte delle isole dalmatine centrali (Srednjodalmatinski[9]). Amministrativamente è inclusa nella regione spalatino-dalmata. La popolazione dell'isola ammontava nel 2011 a 87 abitanti[3], suddivisi nei piccoli abitati di Bora[7] (Borak), Rina Grande[7] o Vella Rina[6] (Vela Rina), Zirona Piccola[6] (Petomavar), Dolici e Kuknara, tutti nella parte orientale dell'isola.
