Kappil is a tourist spot in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala state, India. It is located in Edava Panchayat of Varkala Taluk at the coast of Arabian Sea. It is 18 km (11 mi) north of Kollam city centre. Varkala Railway Station is major railway station near Kappil.[2]
