The river meets the Songhua and Nen Rivers near Songyuan and has several tributaries, including the First Dao, the Second Dao, Huifa, Yinma, Yitong and Lafa Rivers. It is interrupted by the Baishan, Hongshi and Fengman Dams.[2][3]
