The largest lake in Nepal is Rara Lake, also known as Mahendra Daha, in Karnali Province. It lies at about 3200m above sea level, and has a total area of 10.4 square kilometres (4.0 sq mi).[1][2][3][4]
Phoksundo Lake in Karnali Province is the deepest lake of Nepal,[citation needed] having a depth of 136 m.
Tilicho Lake in Gandaki Province is the highest lake of Nepal, at 4919 m above mean sea level.
