This is a list of islands of Iceland. It includes all islands larger than 1 km2, as well as a number of smaller islands that are considered significant either because they are or used to be inhabited, or for specific historical, geographical or geological reasons. Thousands of other small islands and skerries are found along the coast, especially in Breiðafjörður.[1]

Les îles d'Islande sont toutes nées du volcanisme issu de la conjonction des effets d'un point chaud et d'une dorsale océanique. Groupées autour de l'île principale de l'Islande, quelques petites îles dont la taille n'est pas significative se situent non loin des côtes de la terre principale dans les fjords ou dans le prolongement des caps. Le seul groupe d'îles identifié comme étant un archipel est celui des îles Vestmann situé au large de la côte Sud de l'île principale de l'Islande.
