Evans Knoll (74°51′S 100°25′W) is a mainly snow-covered knoll on the coast at the north side of the terminus of Pine Island Glacier. It lies 9 nautical miles (17 km) southwest of Webber Nunatak and marks the southwest end of the Hudson Mountains. It was mapped from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Donald J. Evans, who studied very-low-frequency emissions from the upper atmosphere at Byrd Station, 1960–61.[1]

Der Evans Knoll ist ein größtenteils schneebedeckter Hügel im westantarktischen Ellsworthland, auf der Nordseite der Mündung des Pine-Island-Gletschers in die Pine Island Bay der Amundsen-See gelegen. Er befindet sich rund 17 km südwestlich des Webber-Nunataks und markiert das südwestliche Ende des Hudson-Gebirges.
