The Cheradi Islands (Italian: Isole Cheradi) in the Gulf of Taranto are a small archipelago of the harbor basin of the Mar Grande of Taranto.[1] The island group consists of the two islands of San Pietro and San Paolo. Previously, there was still a third island, San Nicolicchio, but was destroyed through the expansion of the cargo port. Administratively, the islands belong to the old town of Taranto (municipality III Città Vecchia - Borgo).

Die Cheradi-Inseln (italienisch Isole Cheradi) im Golf von Tarent sind ein kleiner Archipel, der im Südwesten das Hafenbecken des Mar Grande von Tarent, im gleichnamigen Golf, schließt. Die Inselgruppe besteht nur aus den beiden Inseln San Pietro (118 Hektar) und San Paolo (5 Hektar). Früher gab es noch eine dritte Insel, San Nicolicchio, die jedoch durch den Ausbau des Frachthafens verschwand. Die Inseln gehören verwaltungsmäßig zur Altstadt von Tarent (Stadtbezirk III Città Vecchia - Borgo).[1]
