Mount Hancox ist ein sehr markanter und mit 3245 m nach dem Mount Riddolls der zweithöchste Berg der Victory Mountains im ostantarktischen Viktorialand. Er befindet sich 9,5 km südöstlich des Mount Burton und überragt den Nordrand des Malta-Plateaus.

Benannt wurde er von der geologischen Mannschaft, die bei der New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1966–1967) den Mariner-Gletscher untersuchte. Namensgeber ist Graham T. Hancox, leitender Geologe dieser Gruppe.

Mount Hancox is a prominent mountain, 3,245 metres (10,650 ft) high, about 6 nautical miles (11 km) southeast of Mount Burton, rising above the north margin of Malta Plateau in the Victory Mountains of Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was named by the Mariner Glacier geology party of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1966–67, for G.T. Hancox, senior geologist with the party in this area.[1]
