Géographie

Il est situé sur une longue ligne de crêtes axée nord-est/sud-ouest et dominant le Lötschental sur sa rive gauche (sud-est). Sur cette ligne de crêtes, il est situé entre le Breitlauihorn et Lonzahörner.

Das Lötschentaler Breithorn ist ein 3785 m ü. M. hoher Gipfel im Wallis in der Schweiz. Er liegt südlich des Lötschentals in den Berner Alpen. Das Lötschentaler Breithorn ist Bestandteil der Bietschhornkette. Die prägende Exposition bildet der Nordhang.

The Breithorn (3,785 m) is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located east of Blatten in the canton of Valais. It lies between the Bietschhorn and the Schinhorn, on the range separating the Lötschental (valley, north) from the main Rhone valley (south). Its summit is the tripoint between the Lötschental and two other smaller valleys: the Baltschiedertal and the valley of the Beichgletscher.
