Explora Knoll is an undersea knoll named for the Antarctic science ship F.S. Explora. The name was proposed by Dr. Heinrich Hinze of the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany, and was approved by the Advisory Committee for Undersea Features in June 1997.[1]

Der Explora Knoll bildet gemeinsam mit dem Andenes Knoll und dem Polarstern Knoll eine Gruppe von Tiefseebergen im östlichen Weddell-Meer nahe der Caird-Küste des ostantarktischen Coatslands. Er liegt in einer Tiefe von 3605 Metern.
