Die Meade-Inseln sind eine Gruppe aus zwei Inseln und einigen Klippen im Archipel der Südlichen Shetlandinseln. Sie liegen in der nördlichen Einfahrt zur McFarlane Strait zwischen der Livingston-Insel und Greenwich Island. Die größere der beiden Inseln ist Zverino Island, die kleinere Cave Island.

Kartiert und benannt wurden sie 1935 von Teilnehmern der britischen Discovery Investigations. Namensgeber ist C. M. Meade, Vermessungsingenieur der hydrographischen Abteilung der britischen Admiralität.

[en] Meade Islands

The Meade Islands are a group of two large islands, Zverino Island and Cave Island, the minor Pisanitsa Island, and several rocks lying in the north entrance to McFarlane Strait, off Archar Peninsula, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica.[2] The surface areas of the first two islands are 48 hectares (120 acres)[1] and 18 hectares (44 acres).[1] respectively. The area was visited by early 19th century sealers.
