Charlestown Breachway State Beach is a seaside public recreation area on Block Island Sound in the town of Charlestown, Rhode Island.[3] Located on the east side of the manmade channel (the "Breachway") that connects Ninigret Pond with the Atlantic Ocean, the area offers 75 camping sites for self-contained RVs,[4] ocean swimming, beach activities, salt-water fishing, and a boat launch.[5]

During the summer season, all RI state beaches are open 9AM to 6PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 6PM on weekends and holidays. [6]
