Großer Dieckfluss wird das an der Wasserscheide Balkenkamp, Stadt Preußisch Oldendorf, hervortretende Fließgewässer von 38 km Länge genannt. Als Gr. Diek Fl. wird es um die Mitte des 19. Jh. an der Nordgrenze des Altkreises Lübbecke bezeichnet, bevor der Kl. Diek Fl. einmündet, und beide zusammen als Gr. Diek in Die gr. Aue münden.[3]
