Der Fauerbach ist ein knapp zehn Kilometer langer, linker und nördlicher Zufluss der Usa im nordwestlichen Bereich des hessischen Wetteraukreises. Er ist ein im bewaldeten Oberlauf grobmaterialreicher, silikatischer Mittelgebirgsbach, der ansonsten begradigt ist. Sein Einzugsgebiet ist 17,168 km2 groß und sein Mittlerer Abfluss beträgt 79,5 l/s. Er gehört zu den Gewässern der III. Ordnung.
