Der Rosskopf ist ein 2603 m ü. A. hoher Berg im Karnischen Hauptkamm in Osttirol. Der von West nach Ost lang gestreckte Berg fällt nach allen Seiten mit schroffen und steilen Wänden ab. Am Westfuß liegt die Obstansersee-Hütte am Obstanser See. Am Ostfuß befindet sich die Scharte des Rosskopftörls. Am selten besuchten Gipfel befindet sich ein Gipfelkreuz.

Roßkopf or Rosskopf is a peak in the Carnic Alps of Austria, near the boundary with Italy. On June 10, 2011, the Austrian Government offered it and nearby peak Grosse Kinigat for sale for €121,000.[2] The parcel of land is approximately 1,000,000 square metres (250 acres),[3] and the purchaser will not be able to restrict others' right of way on the property.[2]
