The Peitlerkofel (Ladin: Sas de Pütia, Italian: Sass de Putia) is a mountain of the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. A solitary mountain, it stands between Val Badia to the east and the Villnöß valley to the west, in the very north of the Dolomites. It boasts two distinct summits, the Grosser Peitler (2875m) and the Kleiner Peitler (2813m), which are divided by a deep ridge.[2]

It is a fairly popular mountain to climb, with the normal and easiest route being from the south. On a fine day it is common to have hundreds of people on the mountain at once. The first documented ascent occurred on June 25, 1885, although it is expected that local hunters probably reached the summit long before then.[2]

Le Peitlerkofel (en italien et en ladin Sasso delle Putia, Sasso Putia ou Sass de Putia) est un sommet des Dolomites et plus précisément du groupe Putia culminant à 2 875 m d'altitude dans la province autonome de Bolzano, en Italie. Situé dans le parc naturel Puez-Odle, le sommet est célèbre non seulement pour le panorama à 360 degrés qu'il offre, grâce à son isolement, mais aussi pour sa via ferrata de moindre difficulté qui permet de l'atteindre[2]. Il est souvent conseillé à ceux qui n'ont jamais vécu l'expérience d'une via ferrata de suivre cette voie.

Il Sass de Putia (Sas de Pütia in ladino, Peitlerkofel in tedesco, in italiano anche detto Sasso del Putia o solo Sasso Putia), è una montagna delle Dolomiti alta 2.875 m. La cima si trova all'interno del parco naturale Puez-Odle, nei pressi del passo delle Erbe, in Alto Adige, passo che mette in comunicazione la val Badia con le valli di Luson e di Funes.
