Hintere Schwärze (German pronunciation: [ˈhɪntəʀə ˈʃvɛʁʦə] (listen); Italian: Cima Nera) is a mountain on the border between Austria and Italy. At 3,628 metres (11,903 ft), it is the fourth highest peak in the Ötztal Alps.[1]

Die Hintere Schwärze (italienisch Cima Nera) ist mit 3624 Metern[1] der vierthöchste Gipfel der Ötztaler Alpen. Er liegt im Schnalskamm genau auf der Staatsgrenze zwischen dem österreichischen Bundesland Tirol und der italienischen Provinz Südtirol. Die Hintere Schwärze ist teilweise vergletschert und sendet nach Norden, Osten und Südwesten ausgeprägte Grate aus. Durch ihre Höhe und geografische Dominanz ist ein Blick vom Gipfel theoretisch nur durch die Erdkrümmung begrenzt.
