The Bälmeten (2,416 m) is a mountain of the Glarus Alps, overlooking Erstfeld in the canton of Uri. It lies west of the Hoch Fulen, in the group north-west of the Gross Windgällen.

Der Bälmeten ist ein 2414 m ü. M. hoher Berg in den Glarner Alpen. Sein Gipfelgrat bildet einen Teil der Grenze zwischen den beiden Gemeinden Schattdorf und Erstfeld. Sein Gipfel ist gleichzeitig die höchste Erhebung von Schattdorf. Er liegt in der Bergkette Wängihorn – Burg – Hoch Fulen – Bälmeten – Schwarz Grat, welche die Gemeinde Schattdorf wie zwei im rechten Winkel aufgestellte Kulissen umgibt.
