Die Prince of Wales Mountains bilden ein Gebirge auf Ellesmere Island im Norden des Kanadisch-arktischen Archipels. Der Gebirgszug, der sich ungefähr in der Mitte der Insel befindet, ist Teil der Arktischen Kordillere. Er wurde 1852 nach dem damaligen Kronprinzen Albert Edward, später Eduard VII., benannt.[1] Das Prince of Wales Icefield bedeckt das Gebirge. Die Eiskappe hat eine Ausdehnung von ungefähr 20.000 km².[2]

The Prince of Wales Mountains are a mountain range running along the central-east coast of Ellesmere Island, Nunavut, Canada. The range is one of the most northern ranges in the world and of the Arctic Cordillera, which is a vast deeply dissected mountain range from Ellesmere Island to the northernmost tip of Labrador. The Prince of Wales Icefield lies mostly in the range.
