Die Cobham Range ist ein Gebirgszug im südlichen Teil der Churchill Mountains im Transantarktischen Gebirge. Die Range erstreckt sich in nordwest-südöstlicher Richtung über 32 km westlich des Prinz-Philip-Gletschers.

Das New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte ihn nach Charles Lyttelton, 10. Viscount Cobham (1909–1977), Generalgouverneur von Neuseelands von 1957 bis 1962.

The Cobham Range trends in a northwest–southeast direction for about 20 nautical miles (40 km), standing west of Prince Philip Glacier in the southern part of the Churchill Mountains. It was mapped by the northern party of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1961–62, and named by the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee for a former Governor-General of New Zealand, Lord Cobham.[1]

La dorsale Cobham è una catena montuosa dell'Antartide. Situata in particolare nella Terra di Oates, e in particolare in corrispondenza della costa di Shackleton, davanti alla barriera di Ross, la dorsale, che fa parte della più vasta catena delle montagne di Churchill, si estende in direzione nord-sud per circa 40 km. La catena, la cui vetta più elevata risulta essere quella del monte Lyttleton, che arriva a 2334 m s.l.m., è delimitata a nord dal nevaio Olsen, a est dal ghiacciaio del Principe Filippo, a ovest dal ghiacciaio Lucy e a sud dal ghiacciaio Nimrod.[1]
