Les Strophades (en grec moderne : Στροφάδια) est un petit archipel grec de deux îles situées dans la mer Ionienne. Elles font partie de l'archipel des îles Ioniennes.

L'archipel se situe à 44 km au sud de l'île-municipalité de Zante, à laquelle ces deux îles sont rattachées administrativement. Il se situe en face de la ville de Kyparissía, située elle sur le continent.

L'île de Stamfáni (el), la plus grande, est habité par un moine qui garde un monastère-forteresse construit en 1241 ; alors que l'île d'Árpia (el) est inhabitée.

Il y a une forte présence d'oiseaux sur ces îles. On y trouve notamment des Puffins de Scopoli (Calonectris diomedea) et des passereaux migrateurs. On y observe aussi une grande migration printanière de Tourterelles des bois (Streptopelia turtur), une espèce menacée selon l'Union internationale pour la conservation de la nature. L'archipel fait partie du parc national marin de Zante.

Die Strofades (griechisch Στροφάδες (f. pl.)) sind zwei kleine Felseneilande im Ionischen Meer. Es handelt sich dabei um die nördlich gelegene, kleinere Insel Arpyia (Άρπυια 0,176 km²) und Stamfani (Σταμφάνη 1,18 km²) oder Megalo Strofadi (Μεγάλο Στροφάδι), die südlich liegt. Sie sind 45,5 km von Zakynthos und 50,3 km von der Peloponnes entfernt und gehören zum Territorium der Gemeinde Zakynthos. Die Inseln sind beide sehr flach und von dichter Vegetation überzogen. Die höchste Erhebung beträgt lediglich 20 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Es gibt keine Sandstrände auf den beiden Inseln. Bekannt sind die Inseln in ganz Griechenland für ihre Naturschönheiten. Die Volkszählung 2011 weist für das Kloster auf Stamfani noch einen wirklichen Bewohner aus[2].

Strofades (Greek: Στροφάδες; also called Strofadia, Στροφάδια, or Stromphides, Στρόμφιδες[1]) is a group of two small Greek islands in the Ionian Islands. They lie about 44 km (27 mi) south-southeast of the island of Zakynthos. Administratively they are part of the Municipality of Zakynthos. The larger island, Stamfani, has an old fortress/monastery built in 1241. The smaller is Arpia. Both are sparsely vegetated and rocky. There is a strong avian presence on the islands, and hunting is prohibited. Species include Cory's shearwater (Calonectris diomedea) and migratory passerines. There is also a large spring migration of turtle doves (Streptopelia turtur).

Le Strofadi[1][2] o Strivali in greco moderno,[3] sono due piccole isole greche del mar Ionio in un gruppo di 35 scogli: Arpia a nord, e Stamfani,[4] la maggiore, a sud, entrambe situate a 32 miglia a sud dell'isola di Zante.A volte i venti tempestosi hanno prevalso sull'isola, sotto forma di un tornado, che gli antichi identificavano con la frase "στροφάδες άελλαι". In questo modo furono chiamati Strofades, come confermato dai nomi dei due venti principali, il nord (Ziti) e il sud (Kalai) della mitologia greca.

Строфа́дес[1][2] (Строфады[3], греч. Στροφάδες), прежде Плоты (Πλωταί «Плавучие острова»)[4] — острова в Ионическом море. Принадлежат Греции. Находятся в 51 километре к юго-западу от мыса Катаколон на Пелопоннесе и в 51 километре к югу от мыса Ераки на острове Закинфе. В группу входят два острова[5] — Стамфанион и Арпия. Административно входят в общину (дим) Закинтос в периферийной единице Закинтос в периферии Ионических островах. Население 1 житель по переписи 2011 года[6].
