Große Kirr est longue de 3,5 km et large de 1,5 km, l’île est inhabitée et sert de pâturage elle ne s’élève tout comme la petite Barther Oie qu’un mètre au-dessus du niveau de la mer.

Kirr ist eine Insel in der Darß-Zingster Boddenkette südlich von Zingst an der deutschen Ostseeküste. Sie ist von der Halbinsel Fischland-Darß-Zingst durch den Zingster Strom getrennt. Die zur Gemeinde Zingst gehörende Insel liegt im Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft. Die heutige Insel war bis zur zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts zweigeteilt, die beiden Inseln wurden damals als Großer oder Große Kirr und Kleiner oder Kleine Kirr bezeichnet.

Kirr is an island in the Darss-Zingst Bodden Chain south of the Zingst Peninsula on the German Baltic Sea coast. It is separated from the peninsula by the Zingster Strom. The island is a nature reserve within the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park. It was formerly and is sometimes still called Großer Kirr or Große Kirr ("Great Kirr"). This is to distinguish it from the northwestern part of the island, which was still a separate albeit much smaller island in the Zingster Strom in the second half of the 20th century, that used to be called Kleiner Kirr or Kleine Kirr ("Small Kirr").

La isla Kirr[1] es una pequeña isla localizada en la cadena Bodden Darß-Zingster, al sur de la península de Zingst en la costa alemana del mar Báltico. Está separada de la península por el Zingster Strom. La isla es una reserva natural dentro de la área del parque nacional de la Laguna de Pomerania Occidental.[2]

Кирр (нем. Kirr) — остров в озере[K 1] Батер Бодден[de] к югу от полуострова Фишланд-Дарсс-Цингст[de] на территории Германии. Остров является частью национального парка Переднепомеранские лагуны[2]. До середины XX века остров был разделён на 2 части: Большой Кирр (Große Kirr) и Малый Кирр (Kleine Kirr)[3]. Остров не имеет постоянного населения[4], используется как место наблюдения за птицами.
