Bjelkarøy (officiellement Bjelkarøyna ) est une île norvégienne de la municipalité d'Øygarden dans le comté de Vestland[1].

Étymologie

Le nom Bjelkarøyna a été créé en 1999. L'orthographe Bjelkarøy est celle qui est généralement utilisée, mais n'est pas approuvée[2].

Elle compte environ 15 résidents permanents.

Géographie

Bjelkarøy est reliée par ferry à Klokkarvik, Lerøy et Hjellestad. Le conseil municipal a adopté un plan de zonage pour le pont entre Bjelkarøy et Lerøy^[Quand ?].

Bjelkarøyna (auch Bjelkarøy) ist eine Insel im südlichen Teil der norwegischen Kommune Øygarden im Fylke Vestland. Mit ihrer größeren Nachbarinsel Lerøyna und einer Reihe kleinerer Inseln bildet sie eine Inselgruppe am Eingang des Raunefjords zwischen Hjellestad in der Gemeinde Bergen im Osten und Klokkarvik auf Sotra im Westen. Die etwa 1,1 km² große Insel hat 23 feste Bewohner, die vor allem um die Bucht Naustvika im Osten Bjelkarøys und in der Mitte der Insel leben. Hinzu kommen einige Ferien- und Bootshäuser im Westen und Norden der Insel, während der südliche und ein Großteil des nördlichen Teils der Insel unbebaut sind.

Bjelkarøyna or Bjelkarøy is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway.[1] The 1.1-square-kilometre (270-acre) island lies in the southern part of the Raunefjorden between the mainland Bergen Peninsula and the large island of Sotra. The small island of Lerøyna lies just east of Bjelkarøyna and the city of Bergen is located just to the east on the mainland.
