Yacyretá Island (Spanish: Isla Yacyretá[1]; Guaraní: jasý retã "land of the Moon") is an island in the Itapúa Department, Paraguay, located in the Paraná River, sectioned by the Yacyretá Dam. Administratively, it is part of the southern province of Itapúa. Is known for its white sand dunes.[2] It has a population of about 400 people live mainly from fishing.

Isla Yacyretá[1] (del guaraní Jasy Retã, «Tierra de la Luna») es el nombre de una isla de Paraguay[2] ubicada en el río Paraná, seccionada por la Represa de Yacyretá. Administrativamente depende del sureño Departamento de Itapua. Es un territorio protegido por las leyes de ese país, después de que más de la mitad de la isla quedara bajo el agua,[2] requiriéndose permiso para realizar actividades como la pesca. La isla es también conocida por sus dunas de arenas blancas.[2] Posee una población de unas 400 personas que viven básicamente de la pesca.
