Hannah Island ist eine eisbedeckte Insel im Marshall-Archipel vor der Saunders-Küste des westantarktischen Marie-Byrd-Lands. Sie liegt zwischen Hutchinson Island und der Guest-Halbinsel inmitten des Sulzberger-Schelfeises.

Der United States Geological Survey kartierte die Insel anhand eigener Vermessungen und Luftaufnahmen der United States Navy aus den Jahren von 1959 bis 1965. Das Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names benannte sie 1970 nach dem Ionosphärenphysiker J. P. Hannah, der 1968 im Rahmen des United States Antarctic Research Program auf der Byrd-Station tätig war.

Hannah Island is an ice-covered island in the Marshall Archipelago, lying between Hutchinson Island and Guest Peninsula within the Sulzberger Ice Shelf, off the coast of Antarctica. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos (1959–65), and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for J.P. Hannah, a United States Antarctic Research Program ionospheric physicist at Byrd Station in 1968.[1]

L'isola Hannah è un'isola rocciosa della Terra di Marie Byrd, in Antartide. L'isola, che è completamente ricoperta dai ghiacci e che si estende in direzione est/ovest per circa 12 km, fa parte dell'arcipelago Marshall e, come le altre isole di questo arcipelago, si trova davanti alla costa di Saunders, all'interno della baia di Sulzberger, dove è completamente circondata dai ghiacci della piattaforma glaciale Sulzberger e dove giace subito a nord dell'isola Hutchinson e a sud della penisola Guest.[1]
