Das Kap Découverte (von französisch découverte ‚Entdeckung‘) ist eine Landspitze an der Küste des ostantarktischen Adélielands. Es markiert das nordwestliche Ende der Gruppe der Curzon-Inseln.

Entdeckt und benannt wurde es bei der Dritten Französischen Antarktisexpedition (1837–1840) unter der Leitung des Polarforschers Jules Dumont d’Urville. Das Kap war die erste Festlandmarke, welche die Expeditionsteilnehmer zu Gesicht bekamen.

Cape Découverte or Cape Discovery (.mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .geo-nondefault,.mw-parser-output .geo-multi-punct{display:none}.mw-parser-output .longitude,.mw-parser-output .latitude{white-space:nowrap}66°46′S 141°33′E) is the point of rocks which marks the northwest extremity of the Curzon Islands along the Adélie Coast. It was discovered on January 21, 1840, by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1837–40, under Captain Jules Dumont d'Urville who gave the name "Cap de la Decouverte" (cape of the discovery). It was the first rocky point of the coast seen by members of the expedition.[1]
