El Lee (An Laoi en gaélico irlandés) es un río de la República de Irlanda, que transcurre por el Condado de Cork y su capital (Cork) hacia la bahía de Cork, en la costa meridional de Irlanda. Existe una central hidroeléctrica en el río, antes de llegar a Cork y en la misma área se encuentran los pantanos de Carrigadrohid e Inniscarra.

Der River Lee (irisch: An Laoi) ist ein Fluss in der Republik Irland im County Cork. Er entspringt westlich von Gougane Barra und fließt dann etwa 55 km in östlicher Richtung nach Cork, wo er den Cork Harbour bildet, bevor er in die Keltische See mündet. Noch vor Cork speist der Lee zusammen mit anderen Flüssen das Iniscarra Reservoir, an dem sich mehrere Wasserkraftwerke befinden.

It rises in the Shehy Mountains on the western border of County Cork and flows eastwards through Cork, where it splits in two for a short distance, creating an island on which Cork's city centre is built, then passing through Cork Harbour on the south coast, one of the largest natural harbours in the world, to empty into the Celtic Sea. The catchment area of the River Lee is 1,253 km2.[4] The long-term average flow rate of the River Lee is 40.4 cubic metres per second (m3/s)[4]
