The Wertach is a river in Bavaria, southern Germany, a left tributary of the Lech. Its total length is 141 km (88 mi).[1] The Wertach originates in the Northern Limestone Alps in Bad Hindelang, east of Sonthofen (district Oberallgäu). It flows north along the towns Wertach, Nesselwang, Marktoberdorf, Kaufbeuren, Schwabmünchen and Bobingen. The Wertach flows into the Lech (itself a tributary of the Danube) in Augsburg.

Die Wertach ist ein mitsamt ihrem längsten Quellbach 141 km langer linker Zufluss des Lechs im Regierungsbezirk Schwaben in Bayern. Die zwei Gebirgsbäche, aus denen die Wertach zusammenfließt, vereinen sich auf 1078 m ü. NHN, die Wertach mündet auf 461 m ü. NHN in Augsburg im Lech. Sie entwässert ein Einzugsgebiet von 1440 km².

El río Wertach (en latín, Vinda) es un afluente del río Lech y se origina en el distrito de Alta Algovia en el extremo sur de Suabia en Baviera, Alemania, por la unión de los arroyos Kaltenbrunnenbach y Eggbach. Atraviesa la comunidad de Wertach y el embalse del Grüntensee (lago del monte Grünten). Acoge los ríos Lobach, Kirnach y Geltnach. Hasta Schwabmünchen atraviesa seis embalses, después la comunidad de Bobingen, luego acoge al río Singold y desemboca en el río Lech en Augsburgo.
