The Sirhowy River (Welsh language : Afon Sirhywi) is a river in Wales and a tributary of the Ebbw River.

Sources

The Sirhowy River has its source on the slopes of Cefn Pyllau-duon above Tredegar. After flowing through Siôn-Sieffre's Reservoir it turns south through Tredegar and then Blackwood and Pontllanfraith. It turns eastwards near Cwmfelinfach and joins the River Ebbw near Crosskeys.

Der Sirhowy River (walisisch: Afon Sirhywi) ist ein rechter Nebenfluss des Ebbw River und dabei der größte Zufluss dieses Flusses. Er fließt über 30 Kilometer im Sirhowy Valley in den South Wales Valleys in Südwales von seiner Quelle auf dem Berg Cefn Pyllaudon nördlich von Tredegar in südlicher und später östlicher Richtung durch Tredegar, Blackwood und Pontllanfraith, ehe er in Crosskeys in den Ebbw River mündet.[2]
