The Reprua (Abkhazian: Аԥрҩа, Georgian:რეპრუა) is a river in the Gagra District of Abkhazia,[1] Georgia. Only 18m (59ft) long, it is one of the shortest named rivers in the world.[2]
Sources of the river are the springs in karst Krubera Cave. The Reprua flows into the Black Sea,[3] in the southwestern outskirts of Gagra.[4]

The political status of Abkhazia is disputed. Having unilaterally declared independence from Georgia in 1992, Abkhazia is formally recognised as an independent state by 5 UN member states (two other state recognised it but then withdrew its recognition), while Georgia continues to claim it as part of its own territory, designating it as Russian-occupied territory.
