The Ploučnice (German: Polzen) is a river in the Czech Republic. It is a tributary of the Elbe, which it flows into in Děčín. It is 101 kilometres (63 mi) long, and its basin area is about 1,200 square kilometres (460 sq mi), of which 1,188 square kilometres (459 sq mi) in the Czech Republic.[1]
