Der Kaitzbach, früher auch Kaiditzbach,[1] ist ein im Süden Dresdens gelegener linker Nebenfluss der Elbe. Seine Länge beträgt gegenwärtig 11,92 Kilometer, die mittlere Durchflussmenge beläuft sich auf etwa 35 Liter pro Sekunde. Benannt wurde er nach dem Dorf und jetzigen Dresdner Stadtteil Kaitz.
