Die Gelpe oder auch der Gelpebach oder Gelper Bach ist ein Bach, der durch den Zusammenfluss des rechten, bei Lichtscheid entspringenden Dornbachs mit dem linken Huckenbach entsteht. Der Bach fließt durch das Gelpetal und ist im Unterlauf Grenzgewässer der Städte Wuppertal und Remscheid, bis er im Remscheider Ortsteil Clemenshammer von rechts in den Morsbach mündet. Die Gelpe ist ca. 5,8 Kilometer lang bei einem Gefälle von 2,27 %. Durchschnittlich führt sie dem Morsbach 280 Liter Wasser pro Sekunde zu.
