The Claise is a 86.5 km (53.7 mi) long river in west-central France located in the departments of Indre and Indre-et-Loire (Centre-Val de Loire). It is a tributary of the river Creuse on the right side, and so is a sub-tributary of the Loire by Creuse and Vienne.[1] It flows into the Creuse near Abilly.[1]

Die Claise ist ein Fluss in Frankreich, der in der Region Centre-Val de Loire verläuft. Er entspringt im Gemeindegebiet von Luant, entwässert generell in nordwestlicher Richtung, durchquert den wasserreichen Regionalen Naturpark Brenne und mündet nach rund 87 Kilometern[2] beim Ort Rives, im Gemeindegebiet von Abilly, als rechter Nebenfluss in die Creuse. Die Claise durchquert auf ihrem Weg die Départements Indre und Indre-et-Loire.
