The Caripi River (Portuguese: Rio Caripi) is a river of the state of Pará, Brazil. It is a left tributary of the Maracanã River.

The Caripi River is the main tributary of the Maracanã River, which it enters from the left.[1] The lower reaches of the river are protected by the 30,179 hectares (74,570 acres) Maracanã Marine Extractive Reserve, created in 2002.[2]
The river is mainly surrounded by forest.[3] The region has a relatively low population, with 43 people per square kilometer.[4] The average temperature is 24 °C (75 °F). The hottest month is November, with 24 °C (75 °F) and the coldest month is March, with 22 °C (72 °F).[5] Average annual rainfall is 2,830 millimetres (111 in). The wettest month is March, with 655 millimetres (25.8 in) and the driest month is October with 9 millimetres (0.35 in).[6]
