Bumthang River (also known as Murchangphy Chhu) is a river in Bhutan. It joins the Tongsa Chhu or Mangde Chhu in southern Bhutan and the combined stream flows into the Manas River.[1]

Der Bumthang Chhu, auch Murchangphy Chhu, im Oberlauf Chamkhar Chhu, ist der bedeutendste Nebenfluss des Mangde Chhu in Zentral-Bhutan. Er ist etwa 141 km lang. Sein Einzugsgebiet umfasst etwa 3200 km².
