The Alna River[1][2][3] (Norwegian: Alnaelva) is a river that runs through Oslo, Norway, from Alnsjøen to the Oslo Fjord at Bjørvika. It also drains Breisjøen, Steinbruvann, Tokerudbekken, and Østensjøvannet. It runs through the boroughs of Gamle Oslo, Nordstrand, Helsfyr, Østensjø, Alna, and Grorud. Large sections of the river run in culverts and the river is highly polluted, partially because it is used as a sewer drain.

The Municipality of Oslo is creating linked walking trails and green spaces along the length of the Alna.

Die Alna (auch Alnaelva oder Loelva[2]) ist der längste Fluss, der durch die norwegische Hauptstadt Oslo fließt. Sie entspringt dem See Alnsjøen im Waldgebiet Lillomarka. Bis 1922 mündete der Fluss in der Gegend zwischen den Osloer Stadtgebieten Grønlia und Sørenga in den Oslofjord, wo auch um das Jahr 1000 die Stadt Oslo gegründet wurde. Im Jahr 1922 jedoch wurde ein Teil des Flusslaufes mit Hilfe eines Tunnels umgeleitet und der alte Mündungsbereich für eine Eisenbahnstrecke genutzt.
