The Airain or Airin is a 47.8 km (29.7 mi) long river in the Cher department in central France.[1] Its source is at Nérondes. It flows generally west, with a U shape. It is a left tributary of the Yèvre, into which it flows at Savigny-en-Septaine, 13 km (8.1 mi) southeast of Bourges.

Der Airin (auch: Airain) ist ein Fluss in Frankreich, der im Département Cher in der Region Centre-Val de Loire verläuft. Er entspringt im Ortsgebiet von Nérondes, entwässert rund die Hälfte seines Laufes in südwestlicher Richtung, schwenkt dann nach Nordwest bis Nord und mündet nach rund 48[2] Kilometern im Gemeindegebiet von Savigny-en-Septaine als linker Nebenfluss in die Yèvre.
