The Aigues (French pronunciation: ​[ɛɡ]), Aigue, Aygues or Eygues is a French river, a tributary of the Rhône. It runs through the departments of Drôme, Hautes-Alpes and Vaucluse. Its source is in the Baronnies mountains. It flows through Verclause, Sahune, Nyons, and it flows into the Rhône at Caderousse. It is 113.7 km (70.6 mi) long.[1] Its drainage basin is 1,012 km2 (391 sq mi).[2]

Several spellings of the name are in use: the French national map service Géoportail shows both "l'Aigues" and "l'Aygues" on maps of the same area near Orange,[3][4] and the village name of Saint-Maurice-sur-Eygues preserves another variant.

Among its tributaries is the Lauzon.

Die Eygues, im Unterlauf Aigues, (andere Schreibweisen: Aigue, Aygues) ist ein linker Nebenfluss der Rhône in Frankreich, der in den Regionen Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes und Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur verläuft. Sie entspringt am Col du Montaux, im Gemeindegebiet von Chauvac-Laux-Montaux, in etwa 1140 Metern Höhe. Die Eygues entwässert anfangs in nordwestlicher Richtung, dreht dann auf Südwest und mündet nach rund 114[2] Kilometern bei Caderousse als linker Nebenfluss in die Rhône. Auf ihrem Weg durchquert die Eygues die Départements Drôme, Hautes-Alpes und Vaucluse.
