Er entspringt im Fort Bend County – etwa 300 m vom KTRK-TV-Sendemast und etwa 1,6 Kilometer westlich der Blue Ridge-Ölquelle. Von dort aus fließt er 66 Kilometer in östliche Richtung und durchfließt Harris County, Brazoria County und Galveston County. Dort mündet er in die Galveston Bay.

Das Flussbett besteht aus Lehmboden beziehungsweise Sandboden, die Vegetation entlang des Flusslaufs hauptsächlich aus Laubbäumen und Kiefern.[2][1][3]

Clear Creek is a small river in Southeast Texas in the United States, which channels much of the run-off in southeast Harris County into Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Much of the length of the stream forms the boundary between Harris County and Galveston County and all of the boundary with Brazoria County. It originates in the Blue Ridge Oilfield in Fort Bend County.
