Der String Lake ist ein See im Grand-Teton-Nationalpark im Westen des US-Bundesstaates Wyoming. Der natürliche See liegt am Abfluss des Leigh Lake, am Fuße der Teton Range. Der durch Gletscher geformte See ist 0,32 km breit und 2,1 km lang und liegt auf einer Höhe von 2090 m über N.N. Ein kleines Feuchtgebiet liegt auf der Nordwestseite des Sees und ist Lebensraum für Elche und andere Tiere. Ein kurzer Bach verbindet den String Lake mit dem südlich gelegenen Jenny Lake. Der See ist leicht mit dem Fahrzeug zu erreichen und einige Wanderwege beginnen vom Trailhead am String Lake, beispielsweise in den Cascade Canyon oder den Paintbrush Canyon oder zu Leigh Lake, Trapper Lake oder Holly Lake.[1][2][3]

String Lake is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U. S. state of Wyoming.[2] The natural lake is located at the outflow of Leigh Lake. A small wetland area is on the northwest side of the lake and is prime moose habitat. A short half mile (.8 km) long creek connects String Lake to Jenny Lake to the south. The lake can easily be accessed by vehicle and a number of trails commence from the String Lake trailhead parking area.[3]
