Zhexi Reservoir (simplified Chinese: 柘溪水库; traditional Chinese: 柘溪水庫; pinyin: Zhèxī Shuǐkù) is a reservoir in Anhua County, Hunan, China.[1] It covers a total surface area of 22,640 km2 (8,740 sq mi) and has a storage capacity of some 3,020,000,000 m3 (1.07×1011 cu ft) of water.[2]

The Zhexi Dam was built at the outlet of the reservoir.[2] It was built from June 1958 to 1962, and the first generator was operational on 28 January 1962.[2]
Zhexi Reservoir open to visitors for free. It is a popular recreation area for fishing and tourism.
