Tanto Dam (Japanese: 但東ダム) is a gravity dam located in Hyogo Prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for flood control and water supply. The catchment area of the dam is 1.3 km². The dam impounds about 7 ha of land when full and can store 470 thousand cubic meters of water. The construction of the dam was started on 1992 and completed in 2006.[1]
