Lake Kickapoo is a reservoir in Archer County, Texas. Created in 1947. It has a surface area of 6,200 acres (25 km2). Named after the Kickapoo tribe native to the area.[1]

One of the nine Air Force Space Surveillance System (formerly NAVSPASUR) sites is located at Lake Kickapoo (33°32.764′N 98°45.763′W). It is the master transmitter and the most powerful continuous wave (CW) station in the world, at 768 kW radiated power.
