Kotsuura Dam (Japanese: 上津浦ダム) is a gravity dam located in Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for flood control and water supply. The catchment area of the dam is 1.2 km². The dam impounds about 2 ha of land when full and can store 467 thousand cubic meters of water. The construction of the dam was started on 1989 and completed in 2004.[1]
