La denominazione è stata assegnata dall'Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) in onore dei Seabees, il battaglione dei genieri della U.S. Navy, che hanno svolto un ruolo importante nella costruzione della basi antartiche statunitensi.[1]

Die Seabee Heights sind eine schroffe und schneebedeckte Gebirgsgruppe im Königin-Maud-Gebirge der antarktischen Ross Dependency. Sie ragen bis zu 3400 m hoch, bei einer Ausdehnung von 24 km Länge und 8 km Breite, zwischen dem DeGanahl-, dem LaVergne- und dem Liv-Gletscher auf.

Seabee Heights is a rugged snow-covered heights rising to 3,400 metres (11,200 ft) in the Queen Maud Mountains. The heights are about 15 nautical miles (28 km; 17 mi) long and 5 nautical miles (9.3 km; 5.8 mi) wide and are bounded by the flow of the DeGanahal, LaVergne and Liv Glaciers. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for the U.S. Navy Construction Battalions (Seabees) which have played a significant role in the building of U.S. Antarctic stations.
